surf sport
Friday evenings plus other available sessions, November to February. Equips children with competition qualifications in a fun environment. The Surf Sports Program has been specifically designed to cater for participants wishing to take Nippers further beyond the Core Nipper program to specifically hone their skills for competition.
In the training sessions there will be a greater focus on refining skills and developing endurance and fitness to support their participation in competition events.
While it is not essential that Nippers participating in this aspect of the program compete in carnivals, Nippers need to be aware that this is the focus of the program and that in Surf Sport sessions, Nippers will be encouraged to challenge themselves in groups structured to support their specific needs and abilities.
Nippers do not have to attend all sessions.
