Removal of surf craft from clubhouse

With the pending redevelopment of the  Ocean Grove SLSC club house the Committee of Management would like to remind non-financial members of the Ocean Grove SLSC that any craft they have stored at the club will be removed.  These craft may be sold by the club to recover some of the cost of storage, used by other club members or disposed of as scrap. If you have boards or skis stored at the club and are NOT a financial member, please remove them from the clubhouse by the end of July 2017.

Financial members are also requested to take home any stored craft if they do not intend to renew their club membership, or if the craft are not currently being used.

If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Nick Bohan 0417 034 877.

Japan-Australia Lifesaver Exchange opportunity

Congratulations to OGSLSC members Lewis Howell-Pavia &Stephanie Amy who have been selected to take part in this program in Chiba, Japan 8 - 30 July.

They will spend the first two weeks patrolling and coaching at Onjuku Beach, then will coach the water safety program for high school students attending summer school at Iwai Beach. Meals, accommodation and a daily subsidy will be provided, but from looking at the schedule, they'll be working hard for it! No doubt it will be an amazing experience and all of us at OGSLSC wish Lewis and Steph the very best.

Our Juniors gave it their best at Warrnambool and did amazingly well, and by all accounts had a ball doing it. Final results put them in second place overall. Well done, team!
